(a)Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings:(1)Automobile. A motor vehicle with a shipping weight of more than 1,000 pounds and designed primarily for the purpose of transporting persons rather than property but which does not have a passenger-carrying capacity sufficiently large to bring it within the definition of "motor bus."(2)Motorcycle. (a)Title. This chapter shall be known as the "Building Code of the Town of Star Prairie" and will be referred to in this chapter as "this code," "this chapter" or "this ordinance."(b)Purpose. (a)County plan established. Pursuant to Wis. Stats. § 5.15, and St. Croix County Ordinance 811 (2012), the town is divided into six wards:(1)Every ten years the United States Census Bureau conducts a census of the populations and provides population counts to local municipalities; and(2)The State of Wisconsin delivered detailed population data and block-level maps to St. Croix County on August 16, 2021; and(3)Wisconsin Statutes sec. 59.10(3)(b) requires counties to prepare a tentative county supervisory district plan within 60 days of receiving the population data and block-level maps; and(4)St. Croix County Board of Supervisors has held a public hearing and adopted a tentative supervisory district plan; and(5)The tentative plan contains supervisory districts that are substantially equal in population; and(6)Copies of the plan have been provided to local municipalities; and(7)St. Croix County has indicated the approximate location of the territory from which a ward is sought and the approximate population of the ward; and(8)Wisconsin Statutes sec. 5.15 requires municipalities to divide into wards.(b)The Town of Star Prairie hereby adopts a ward boundary plan as described below:Ward
